Four nursing homes in one state have been find for negligence in patient care. Several incidents led to negligent incidents including a patient choking incident. The patient had a risk and history of choking. When eating lasagna a 3 inch noodle was lodged in his throat requiring the Heimlich maneuver.
Another incident involved an overdose of morphine from what was prescribed as .25, but administered as 2.5. Yet another patient incident involved elopement from the facility.
