Nursing Homes Fined For Patient Deaths

A nursing home has been fined for allowing a patient to fall. The patient did not receive proper supervision and died as a result of the fall. The nursing home was also cited for a “AA” violation.

Another nursing home in the same area was fined for allowing a patient to die without performing CPR. The patient should have been provided resuscitation efforts by nursing home staff. Each of the two nursing homes were fined $50,000. For more, read the story
