The pastor of People's A.M.E. Zion Church in Syracuse, New York, took his concerns about a local nursing home to Facebook Live. “It is freezing cold,” a resident said.
“It's a shame when you all got people walking around with coats and gloves including the employees,” the resident said.
“It was quite frigid in her room. And at the same time, walking around, moving around on the fourth floor in that area where room is located, you can really feel it was not heated well,” Jaime said.
Local department of health inspectors say they are investigating. State and federal law mandates heating systems which will maintain a minimum temperature of 75 degrees. For more, read the story.
