At an assisted living facility, a certified nursing aide sexually assaulted her male patient. The victim suffers from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. The incident took place while the aide was working the night shift. Facility staff contacted the police after the CNA was missing for almost two hours. She was eventually found, naked and getting dressed in the patient’s bathroom.
The patient told officers that the nursing aide had sexually battered him and said, “She jumped on me and raped me.” The evidence from the sexual assault kit and DNA testing confirmed the patient’s claims.
