Search On For Woman With Dementia Missing From Assisted Living Facility

A search was under way late Sunday for a woman missing from an assisted living home.

The
45-year-old woman was last seen about 5 p.m. having dinner on the porch
at her assisted care home. She suffers from
dementia and apparently wandered off.

People at the home
discovered she was missing about 7 p.m. They spent about
an hour looking for her before calling for help.

The woman has no family in the area.

Deputies
were on scene about 11 p.m. and search teams were on the way. Sheriff’s
investigators were trying to determine how to best conduct the search.

“We’ll have to keep looking,” he said. For more, read the story.
