Nearly half of all nursing homes inflate reports of staffing to show higher staffing levels than are the reality in their nursing home facilities. A database is available for individuals to search to identify the variation of staffing levels reported during annual surveys and those reported to Medicare and Medicaid for reimbursements. The database houses over 11.000 nursing homes.
To database is searchable by state and county, for listings featured in the database. The results will produce a list that can be selected to view the report. For more, read the story.
