After a historic dip in senior living inquiries and move-ins, August numbers reveal that the numbers are back on the rise. While senior living statistics are still quite lower than last year’s numbers due to the coronavirus pandemic, inquires have increased by 56%, and move-in averages have increased by 95% from April to August of this year.
It is presumed that numbers will continue to increase as confidence in long-term facilities stabilizes. Facilities with specific care, such as assisted living and memory care communities, are expected to rebound even more quickly due to their narrowed focus and care.
