A 2015 case that was closed after an investigation for senior neglect returned cold is currently being re-reviewed by a prosecutor. According to a report, the area’s local police requested the potential neglect case be reopened. The incident involved a man at a nursing home facility who died from asphyxiation according to his death certificate; however, the son of the decedent alleges the facility told his family that his father died from natural causes.
