More than three million elderly Americans are in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Unfortunately, reports have shown that around seventeen percent of these residents experience abuse or neglect every year. Physical, sexual, psychological abuse, financial exploitation, neglect and resident to resident abuse in these facilities are things for loved ones to be aware of.
