A nursing home is being investigated following a claim that a patient was brutally beaten in its care. In a photograph taken by the patient’s son, bruises and blood cover the patient’s face. The patient’s son posted a photo of his mother’s injuries on a social media outlet incriminating the facility. “My mother was assaulted numerous times,” the son had stated.
The nursing home facility responded by commenting, “The safety and well-being of our patients and residents is our highest priority here at [the nursing home facility]. There was an incident at the facility involving a resident that resulted in a fall with injuries.
