A couple originally booked their 200-person wedding in Austin, Texas, but due to Covid-19 restrictions, their plans were switched and the event was downsized to an intimate 11-person backyard ceremony in California.
When their plans changed, the mother of the groom decided the flowers ordered for their Texas wedding still deserved a good home. Because her mother was a resident of an assisted living facility in Austin, she wanted “a way to try and help people like my mother.” Instead of canceling the order, the flowers were donated to The Village at The Triangle, as well as one other facility.
