Two licensed nurse practitioners as well as a certified nurse assistant were arrested Friday following the 2014 death of an 89-year-old patient whose calls for help were ignored by the nursing home staff.
The charges include felony murder, neglect to a disabled adult, neglect to an elder person or resident of long-term care facility, abuse, exploitation of a disabled or elder person, and concealing the death of another. For more, read the story.
