Two families are filing lawsuits against the same facility for the same type of negligence and wrongful death. An 89-year-old patient and an 85-year-old patient both fell and sustained head injuries. The first patient died about a week after her fall. The second patient died just 4 days later of the same blunt force trauma to the head.
The families are now suing the facility with the state department of health backing up the fact that the facility failed to provide electronic devices to prevent the falls of both patients. For more, read the story.
