Two VA nursing homes in one state are under investigation following a national investigation and release of information to the public. Previously, VA facilities were protected without information being publicized. Once it was publicized the results were unfavorable, a VA committee chairman ordered an investigation to verify the level of patient care being provided to veterans in his state.
