US Navy sailors presented veterans with pins at an assisted living facility in appreciation of their history of service on Veterans Day. A Navy officer coordinated the event with the desire to recognize the veterans who laid the foundation for them in service. Veterans were touched to be remembered by the young US Navy sailors.
“We are dedicated and honored to have our active-duty military as part of the Veterans Day ceremony,” said a hospice community educator associated with a home health company. “The Sailors are there to pin and thank the veteran that has paved the way for them.
