A nursing home exclusive to veterans honored the patients in the home who have served our country. Annually a golf tournament is held in the area to raise money for the veterans. The veterans were honored on Veterans Day with a check from the funds raised in the tournament. The veterans were appreciative of the presentation and to be remembered and honored.
“We had the privilege of getting to present it to them today, on Veterans Day. It's just great to see all these people out here who have served our country. They've given us the freedom that we have today. We're just happy we could raise a little money for them,” said the organizer of the golf tournament. For more, read the story.
