Washington Nursing Home Coronavirus Deaths May Be Higher Than Reported

According to a Washington news station, the number of deaths linked to coronavirus in Washington state could be even higher than previously announced based on figures released by the nursing home at the center of the region's outbreak.

At the time of the article publication, Trump stated he was ‘not concerned’ as coronavirus cases rise in DC area. Officials in Washington, D.C., say a man in his 50s has tested positive for coronavirus, marking the first confirmed case in the nation’s capital.

District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowser said that the man started exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 in late February and was hospitalized shortly there after. She said another man, from Nigeria, who had passed through Washington has also tested positive for the virus in Maryland.
