A nursing home aid has been accused of murdering patients after predicting their deaths via texts. The aid was predicting to co-workers which patients would die next and the patients he named were indeed the next to become deceased. Unfortunately, the patients did not die of natural causes.

The former employee struck the patient in the face, resulting in the loss of sight in one eye. The patient was rushed to the hospital after being struck, but doctors were unable to save her eyesight. The patient suffered from dementia, but was able to testify in court.
