A nurse has been charged with sexual assault after abusing several critical care patients at a hospital. The defendant is accused two counts of object rape, a first-degree felony, and forcible sexual abuse, a second-degree felony. The widow of a nursing home patient is blaming the nursing home for her husband's death, filing a claim against the nursing home.  The patient suffered multiple accidental falls, abuse, neglect, physical pain, mental anguish and medical expenses according to the lawsuit. The suit also claims these incidents and suffering contributed to this death. The lawsuit seeks a jury trial for damages, attorney's fees, and costs.

A nursing home has been fined by the State Health Department after allowing a patient to die after several hours in 97 degree heat. The patient was left out in the heat and was not checked by nursing staff from 2:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m. according to surveillance video.
