The family states that the nursing home’s lack of care led to negligence, injuries and wrongful death. The family is seeking damages, attorney fees, court costs, and punitive damages.
Nursing Home Assistant Charged With Theft Of Patients
A former nursing assistant at a nursing home was formally charged with theft recently for stealing from patients. The theft involved tablets and a golden ring. The nursing assistant sold the patients’ possessions in a pawn shop after stealing them from the facility.
Nursing Home Employee Waives Hearing For Abuse Charges
A nursing home employee accused of abusing a patient has waived her right to a preliminary hearing. The nursing home employee was witnessed by a supervisor abusing a patient and subsequently reported. The former caregiver faces felony charges of abuse in the third degree of a vulnerable adult.
