Nursing Home Surveillance Reveals Employee Was Guilty Of Abuse

A nursing home facility fired one of their nursing home employees, because the woman was caught on video tape pushing one of the home’s residents to the ground. The video tape shows that the resident had opened a drawer and when the woman walked in she closed the drawer and then pushed the resident to the floor. There is a growing concern for residents of nursing homes who are given the blood thinning medication Coumadin. The concerns stems from the difficulty for nursing homes to control the use of the drug in a way that all residents remain safe using it.
