Two staff members in a nursing home facility were arrested for abusing patients residing at the nursing home. Family members of the abused patients secretly set up hidden cameras to try and find an explanation for the unknown cuts and bruises on their loved ones. After the family members found evidence of abuse their loved ones experienced, they reported it.

A nursing home facility is struggling to prove they deserve to remain open after losing funding from Medicare. Medicare decided to drop funding at the facility because state inspectors found many deficiencies within the facility. The former employee began reporting incidents anonymously so she would not be harassed for sharing information or even released from her position. After the reports seemed to go unheard or ignored for about five months, she decided to directly report her concerns about the abuse in the nursing home revealing her name.
