An aide employed at a nursing home facility has been arrested and charged after allegations that he sexually assaulted a patient in his care.   According to court documents, the alleged victim was demented and had Alzheimer’s disease.   Reports state that aide, who was accompanied by an individual who later reported the misconduct to the facility, was abusing the patient verbally and physically.

Nurse Aides Terminated Following Insensitive Photo Leaked on Social Media

Two nurse aides were immediately fired after an insensitive social media post went viral.   According to a report, the aides were employees at a nursing home facility who regularly cared for senior citizens.   The social media post contained an image of the aides with the caption “might drop your grandma later.”    According to the aides, the caption was a harmless joke which has been copied and re-posted on many forms of social media outlets.

Sexual Assault Among Mentally-Impaired Nursing Home Residents Results in $25,000 Fine
